Jones Has Two More Trips

All-American offensive line prospect Mike Jones has two more official visit to take. What is the big OL from Illinois thinking right now in regards to recruiting?

Oaklawn (Ill.) Richards offensive line prospect Mike Jones was part of the 22 man All-American Team presented by TheInsiders.com and CNNSI.com. Jones, 6-5 and 300 pounds, has already taken three official visits to Notre Dame, Iowa, and Miami. He has two more this month and then comes the decision.

"I will visit Tennessee (1-17) and Penn State (1-24)," said Jones. "I will take all the visits and then I don't know what will happen. A decision could come anytime after that. For now, I am open."

Jones is not tipping his hat as to which way he is leaning. But this is what he says stands out about every program in his final five.

"Well, Notre Dame is Notre Dame. They have more football tradition than any school out there.

"At Iowa, I love the coaching staff, especially the head man.

"Miami is a team that just always wins and you can't beat that weather. Penn State has a coaching legend in Joe Paterno and that is a program I would love to be a part of.

"This summer, I camped at Tennessee and loved it. Coach Fulmer is also a good OL coach and I love Coach Berry. That is a program close to being back on top."
