Q&A with WR Tyler Fanucchi

Why did you pick the University of Iowa?

"The Big Ten conference and I felt comfortable with the players and the coaches."

What position will you play for the Hawkeyes?

"Wide receiver."

Who is recruiting you from Iowa?

"Lester Erb."

What are your goals going to be as s true freshman?

"I want to start. If that doesn't happen, I just want to come in and compete and do the best that I can."

Is there someone in your life that you consider to be an inspiration or role model?

"My brother (Louis Fanucchi) because he played wide receiver for Boise State and he accomplished so much including getting his degree."

Who is your favorite college or professional football player?

"Tim Dwight."

What did you like the most about the recruiting process?

"I liked the entire experience of just being recruited. Taking everything in and enjoying it."

What did you like the least about the recruiting process?

"The stress."

What advice would you give an underclassman that will be going through the recruiting process next year?

"Follow your heart and go where you feel the most comfortable."
