Injury Report: Spievey went to the locker room with cramps, but returned to action.

Chris Rowell was not dressed. I did not hear if he was injured.

Julian Vandervelde suited up and participated in warm-ups but did not see any action.

O'Meara suffered a cut that required two stitches.

Quick Notes:

-Greg Castillo got the start ahead of William Lowe at cornerback. Castillo said that the coaches didn't tell him he won the competition until before the game in the locker room.

-Jonathan Gimm worked out with the tight ends and the fullbacks in pre-game warm-ups.

-Iowa employed sets with three tight ends early in the game.

-Chaney ran at No. 3 receiver and Don Nordmann was the fourth receiver to see action after starters Stross and McNutt.

-Albert Young watched the game from the sideline as did Cal Elded.

-Morse threw a great block on Robinson's touchdown run.

-Gettis was whistled for holding on a play that Chaney got to the end zone on a long pass from Stanzi.
