"My post play is good," the Class of 2011 recruit said. "I have some pretty good post moves and I have some pretty good feet for a big guy. I shot 43 percent from three. I still want to keep improving on that.
"I also want to be able to take people off of the dribble a little bit more."
Tuttle visited Iowa City on Sunday to watch the Hawkeyes cruise past Indiana, 73-57, at Carver. An announced crowd of more than 11,000 fans cheered on Iowa as several future prospects looked on.
"It was exciting," Tuttle said. "Obviously, it's two teams not at the top of the Big Ten. The crowd wasn't completely full, but I know it could probably get loud here when it is."
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound junior from Sheffield (IA)-Chapin Community High holds scholarship offers from Northern Iowa and South Dakota.
"I've been to UNI a lot of times," Tuttle said. "I've been to Iowa State. I've been over to Wisconsin. I've been to Creighton. I've got a bunch of mail from William & Mary and a bunch of other Missouri Valley schools."
Tuttle senses that another school might be close to extending him an offer.
"I have a feeling that Creighton might be coming pretty soon," he said. "Other than that, I'm just kind of waiting. I'm just looking right now. I have decided completely what to look at right yet.
"But the first thing that I look at is the coaching staff. I know that Iowa has some good coaches and they're friendly."
Tuttle might not know where he's is headed for college, but he has an idea what he can do when he gets there.
"I see myself as a 4-5 and out," he said. "I can shoot the three if I have to. Obviously, I'm 6-8, 200. You have to be a little bigger to play that five spot."
