On Monday the rankings were extended/updated and Iowa verbals are on the move.

We begin with Jacob Rudock. The St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) quarterback product was listed as a 2-star, but has been bumped up to a 3-star and is now the No. 65 nationally ranked quarterback in the country. He led the Raiders to the state semi-finals(5A) with 1,949 passing yards, 30 TDs, and eight interceptions in 2009.

When John Raymon committed to Iowa in late June, it had many Hawkeye fans scratching their heads. Who is this guy? Well it's clear that he is not flying under the radar any longer. Raymon is now a 3-star defensive end and ranked the No. 75th overall. The Council Rock North (PA) product gets his season underway on September 3rd.

With the rankings extended, Iowa's first commitment Marcus Grant now as a spot. Grant has been upgraded to a 3-star player and is the No. 111 wide receiver overall in the country. As a junior, Grant caught 22 passes for 413 yards and six touchdowns. The Lawrence Academy product also carried the ball 25 times for 349 yards and four scores and returned three punts for TDs.

Michigan product Jake Duzey is now rated among the tight ends in the rankings. Listed as a receiver before, Duzey is a 3-star and checks in at the No. 38 overall nationally at tight end.

Outside linebacker Mike Orloff's star rating stayed the same, but is now the No. 136 overall at his position.

Another outside linebacker that saw a jump in his rating was Cole Fisher. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder jumped to a 3-star player and checks it at No. 88 for his position. He finished his junior season with 80 tackles last season, but had surgery on a torn right ACL in January.

Iowa currently checks in at No. 29 overall in the team rankings, with a 3.0 average when it comes to stars. At just 13 commitments, we should see a rise in their ranking as time goes by.
