AP Poll: Iowa checks in at No. 9

Iowa is one of four Big Ten teams to appear in the Top 25.

Ohio State who has been ranked no lower than 11th in the last eight preseason polls, received three first-place votes to check in at No. 2.

The Wisconsin Badgers start the year at No. 12 and Penn State is No. 19.

Alabama received 54 of 60 first-place votes from the media panel and 1,491 points to easily outdistance No. 2 Ohio State in the Top 25 released Saturday.
