Wildcat Leaves Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. - KStateFans has learned that Freddy Asprilla has left the team.

Early this morning, KStateFans learned that Junior Freddy Asprilla has quit the Kansas State Basketball program.

Singled out earlier this season for his hard work and effort, Asprilla was a player with a great deal of promise.

"You talk about a guy that has dropped 60 pounds over a four month period, trying to learn how to defend how we defend and then learning an offense too. He is used to playing on one side of the floor and now he is playing on two. He is a talented young man and a prideful young man and he does what I ask him to do so he will continue to get better," stated Head Coach Frank Martin earlier this season.
