Cosh Officially Transferring

MANHATTAN, Kan. - As we originally stated this past week, Kansas State Freshman Quarterback Billy Cosh has elected to transfer.

Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder announced Friday that freshman quarterback Billy Cosh has left the Wildcat football program and plans to enroll at James Madison University.

"I'm pleased that Billy will have the opportunity to get on the field quickly in a program that features the passing game," said Snyder. "Billy is obviously a dear friend and a great young man. He loved Manhattan and our program and players but simply felt by transferring he could gain more immediate playing time."

Cosh, who prepped at Arundel High School in Gambrils, Md., redshirted for the Wildcats in 2010.
