Number One Seeded 'Cats Ready For OKC

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State already wrapped up a fantastic regular season, winning the Big 12 regular-season championship and now looks to the end of season Big 12 Tournament.

The top seed in the Big 12 Tournament, Kansas State play in the 2013 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, Thursday - Sunday, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The 'Cats will square off against Texas Tech with a start time of 12:30 pm this Thursday May 23rd. Texas Tech comes into the tournament ranked as the #8 seed . Following the game against TT, the 'Cats will face off against the #5 seed in the Baylor Bears on Friday and face Oklahoma on Saturday, both games have a start time of 12:30.

The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship will be televised nationally on Fox College Sports up until the championship game on Sunday which will be aired on FSN.

K-State enters Tourney play with an impressive 39-16 record on the season and will not sneek up on anyone as the No.1 seeded team.

Led by Big 12 Coach of the Year Brad Hill and Big 12 Conference Player of the Year in second baseman Ross Kivet, Kansas State looks to bring the momentum for the regular season into the tournament and continue its' winning ways.
