The Texas Longhorns won the game I didn't want them to win but they won. Vince Young came back from a major ankle twist to win the game for Texas we made mistakes on offense and did not contain Vince Young like we should have but it's all in the past now.
Now we face a real good OSU team, but who are their stars well let's start off with Rashaun Woods 6-2 195 Sr. he maybe the best wr in the country right now. Better then Kellen Winslow jr. because of what Woods bring's to the table he has great hands and a knack for getting the ball when it shouldn't be caught. He bring's to OSU a pro player on a college team. He has bonafide star written all over him. To quote Mel Kiper jr. "Rashaun Woods is The most polished wide out in the country", but will he be able to handle the KSU defense?
Then there is also Tatum Bell 5-11 205 Sr. a good running back who can be a threat running or catching the ball out of the post he remind me of Ricky Williams without the bad hair job or injury problem. My question is can they use him for screen passes or will ksu be able to contain him and make Woods do all the works in the passing game? Finally their qb is Josh Fields 6-1 210 jr. who sometime looked like he will be a major college All American or he looked as flat like a balloon like his game vs. Nebraska so the question is which qb will we see on saturday.
The Head Coach of OSU is Les Miles (12-12 )a man who improved this team ever since his arrival 3 years ago. He made OSU one of the best teams in the country but he never won the big 12 let alone the south title for OSU. How will he fare vs. a man who brought ksu out of the graveyard and soaking up 11 wins seasons bowl wins and yet always modest about his coaching successes Bill Snyder who won every game since Les Miles joined OSU we will find out.
The key for KSU to win saturday is catching the football many of you have complained about James Terry dropped passes and wonder what happen to him. I think he was worried about getting hit in the game a game that had many cheap shots by texas and also was looking downfield instead of the ball. Once he start looking at the ball more he will have the confidence to grab the ball and then run downfield.
Well we are playing at Oklahoma State house this saturday so what will happen. I expect this game to be tough hard and exciting so we will win this game 27-10. Why do I say that well in the second half i saw ksu defense crank it up a notch. It played like it was 1998 with Canty, Ochs, and others. It attacked Chance Mock like a shark feasting on swimmers fat body. Only when Vince Young came back in that they felt like he could out run the defense. But Josh Fields is not a mobile qb he a drop back passer with a little mobility but can't get away from the rush like Vince Young did so expect this d to bring back the lynch mob persona for this game to put a whooping on Fields plus with him running around he will make as accurate passes so expect Woods to be a small factor and Tatum Bells will not get pass KSU front four cause they proved to me that they can stop the run game ask Texas.
Ell Roberson and Darren Sproles are main guys and they both coming off injuries now they are going to step it up and prove that all the hype about them are true. Sproles must have good protection on the run that why he need Travis Wilson 6-4 240 to help create lanes so Sproles can pick up the big yardages. They need to also let Ayo Saba 6-0 260 So. get some playing time cause like joe hall case they can't plan for Saba cause they know a big FB who can catch the ball and run downfield is very dangerous. So if your still upset that KSU lost don't cause it still early and this team can be dangerous when it want to if they get focused and don't lose hope you'll be very excited about the end results.
