Brandon Gunn, the top RB out of Nebraska, has it down to three, with one visit remaining in January before he announces.
The top running back in Nebraska
is close to announcing his decision, with just one more visit remaining.
Brandon Gunn, after already ruling out any chance of becoming a Cornhusker, is
now down to just three.
The 5-foot-10 190 pound tailback likes Kansas State, Iowa State, and UCLA,
which he'll visit in early January.
"I've had good visits to the other two and I just want to be
able to go to UCLA and have another good one," he said. "I'll make my decision
after that trip."
Gunn, who visited K-State back in October, just returned
from his trip at Iowa State
where he said he was impressed with the youth of the team.
"They are so young there," he said. "I love their facilities
and they have a great coaching staff too. They didn't have a very good year,
but a lot of people don't realize how young their team is. Iowa
State is going to be real good
But nothing can quite match K-State's immediate success this
season in winning the Big 12 Championship.
"K-State finished the season so strong," said Gunn, who is No.
33 at RB nationally. "They really beat up on Oklahoma.
It was great to see that, but it didn't really surprise me at all. K-State is a
great football team and I would have always considered them, regardless of how
they finished their season."
