"I like K-State," said Oduegwu, who plans to visit LSU,
Oduegwu just wrapped a camp visit at K-State, along linebacker and high school teammate Xavier Kelly—so what are the chances of the Wildcats pulling off a package deal?
"There's a good chance," he said. "We started talking about it our sophomore year. Before it was just joking around, but now it's getting real serious.
"Coach came in and told us this spring that we were getting calls and calls from the same schools. That's when we really started seeing that it might actually happen. We just have to see."
As for his camp at K-State, Oduegwu said it went well, despite not receiving an official offer from the K-State staff.
"I had a lot of fun at their camp and I think coach (Bob) Elliott liked me, so that's good," said Oduegwu, who recorded 152 tackles, 30 for a loss, last season. "I learned a lot of stuff there, got to play some cornerback and they showed me some drills that I think will help me with my speed."
Though he was disappointed he didn't receive an offer, Oduegwu said he can see one coming down the pike soon.
"They told me they really liked me and they want me, so I think it's just a matter of time before they offer. I'm pretty sure they'll offer me."
