Dewitty has four offers, but not from K-State

Running back Shaun Dewitty still likes K-State, but hasn't had much contact with the Cats for some time-- and doesn't know whether or not to expect an offer.

Running back Shaun Dewitty is a football player of few words right now.

The Colorado Springs native has four offers as of now—including Wyoming, Arizona State, Indiana, and Colorado, but not from Kansas State, a school he still has heavy interest in.

"They haven't offered and I haven't heard from them for a while," he said. "I'm still waiting. Most of my contact has been just through email from the coaching staff, and that's it. I had one phone call in May."

But despite having little contact with K-State, the 6-foot-1 190 pound Dewitty said his interest in the Wildcats remains the same—strong.

"I like their program," said Dewitty, who rushed for 1,438 and 20 touchdowns last season. "I like them a lot, from what I know right now. I want to know more, but from what I know now, they're a consistent team that knows how to win."

But even with what contact Dewitty has had with K-State, he said he hasn't any indication of an offer coming across the table.

"They haven't said anything to me yet that would make me think they're going to offer," he said. "We'll just have to wait and see what happens because right now I really just know much."
