Recruiting Roundup of some of Kansas State's BF targets for the class of 2005- profiled.

Here is a look at some of Kansas State's BF targets for the class of 2005.

Wildcat Recruiting Prospects

Chris Oakes, 6-8 BF, Oakland (CA) Castlemont- A three star ranking from TheInsiders. Because he only weighs about 200 pounds, it is imperative that Oakes add weight and strength in a hurry. Still, he is a high major prospect because he runs the court like a deer, can put the ball on the floor a little and has good touch to 12 feet. He makes up for his lack of strength with a good hoops IQ and he isn't afraid to battle in the paint. He's also a decent shot blocker who has the patience to wait out shot fakes. TheInsiders scouts him as: Long, slender post with a big upside. Good feet and hands. Very active. Very effective around the basket. High major prospect.

Brian Morris, 6-8 BF, Portland (OR) Jefferson- With a three star ranking from TheInsiders and after adding some weight and strength, Morris has developed into a quality big man who should surprise some folks on the college level. He uses his ample backside to establish position on the low blocks and finishes with dunks or soft jump hooks from six to eight feet. He does need to improve his overall quickness and play harder at times.
