ABC to televise Kansas State v OU
Oklahoma at Kansas State set for 11 a.m. ABC telecast on Oct. 16
MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State Department of Athletics received word Sunday that its game vs. Oklahoma on Oct. 16 at KSU Stadium has been selected for a regional broadcast by ABC Sports and will kick off at 11 a.m. (CT)
The selection of the Oklahoma at K-State game marks the third time in six games this season that the Wildcats will appear on television. Kansas State's game vs. Fresno State on Sept. 11 was telecast live nationally by Fox Sports Net, while its game at Texas A&M was aired nationally by TBS.
It is also the fifth straight Kansas State vs. Oklahoma match-up that will be televised by ABC Sports. The Wildcats' regular-season contests vs. the Sooners during both the 2000 and 2001 seasons were broadcast by the network, as well as the 2000 and 2003 Big 12 Championship games, which featured K-State and OU.
Other television selections for Oct. 16 include a regional telecast of the Iowa State at Colorado game on Fox Sports Net at 12:30 p.m. (CT), Missouri at Texas on ABC at 2:30 p.m. (CT) and Texas A&M at Oklahoma State on Fox Sports Net at 6 p.m. (CT).
