KSU Women's Basketball Set to Begin
FIRST K-STATE WOMEN'S HOOPS PRACTICE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
MANHATTAN, Kan. – With the first official day of practice just a few days away, the Kansas State women's basketball team invites Wildcat fans of all ages to take a sneak peek at the 2004-05 squad on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 8-9 a.m. in Bramlage Coliseum. The open practice, presented by Varney's, will also give fans a first look at the team's three new freshmen and two new coaching staff members in action.
Posters, schedule cards and roster cards will be passed out to all those in attendance and fans will be entered into a raffle drawing for a chance to win a team autographed basketball. The first 100 fans through the door will receive a pre-signed women's basketball poster. Players and coaches, however, will not be accessible to fans for additional autographs or to the media for interview opportunities. Fans wishing to attend may enter the practice session via the Northwest doors of the coliseum, which will be open from 8-9 a.m.
Parking for the open scrimmage is limited to paid parking and private lots surrounding the KSU Sports Complex. The East and West Lots of the KSU Sports Complex adjacent to Bramlage Coliseum will be reserved for the Kansas State vs. Oklahoma football game, which is set to kickoff at 11 a.m. Sports Complex paid parking lots will open at 6 a.m.
