Bobby Jones: Returns From Manhattan

One of the Wildcats' top D-line Prospects took his official visit to Manhattan this weekend.

The Kansas State Wildcats hosted six official visitors this weekend, including North Dakota College of Science defensive lineman Bobby Jones.

"I really liked the game atmosphere there," said Jones. "It seemed there were all sorts of fans that came up to me and knew who I was. Kansas State realy stressed the success they've had with junior college transfers, and it is quite impressive. I got the chance to talk with a lot of the transfers on how they made the transition, and Kansas State has a good track record."

Jones made one key relationship with another JUCO recruit that was in town.

"Marcus Raines and I really hit it off, and hung out quite a bit during the trip, We are suppose to be talking again here in a few days. I know Nate Harris was suppose to be there, too, as he was suppose to be at Michigan State the same time I was visited there as well. I guess his daughter had a birthday or something came up where he couldn't come so I'm still waiting to meet him."

Jones will make an official visit to Wisconsin in December, and plans to decide this week on whether he will make an official visit to Kansas or not.
