Coffman to Choose between Cats and Tigers Four Star Rated Chase Coffman is not only one of the best TE's in the country, he is also a legacy at Kansas State where his father Paul played for the Cats. At 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, Chase is pro-typical TE and has had attention from programs all over the country. Through the recruiting process, Chase has narrowed his decisions to Kansas State and Missouri.

In trying to reach Chase earlier in the week for an update, the Missouri Coaches had just left his house for their official in-house visit.

Iowa and Nebraska, both once in the running for his signature with Iowa assumed as a strong contender at one point- have both been eliminated from contention.

Expected to make a decision before the first of the year- the Kansas State coaches are still expected for their in-house visit.

Chase recently won the Simone award given to the best high school football player in the Kansas City area and is considered one of the best recruits in the state of Missouri. With a 31 catches for 681 yards this season, Coffman is fully-qualified and sporting a 3.3 gpa and a 20 on his ACT.
