California QB still visiting Manhattan?

As signing day continues to edge closer, one of the Cats top targets at QB who was originally slotted to take his official visit to Manhattan says there are new developments in his recruitment. From the State of California, this three star prospect says there are a couple items at play in regards to his recruitment.

One of the last remaining targets at the quarterback position for Kansas State, Ossar Rasshan from Garey Senior High in Pomona, CA says he was not able to take a trip to Manhattan this weekend. Although talking to another coach on the phone, KStateFans was able to get a quick update on the current state of Ossar's recruitment.

"Originally I was going to visit K-State this past weekend but I have been sick with tonsillitis and have just been getting over that, I did not make my trip out to K-State," said Rasshan.

A three star rated quarterback of the mold that K-State covets in his ability to both throw and run and provide Coach Snyder's offense a dual threat, Rasshan may stay on the West Coast. With legitimate 4.5 speed and great height at 6-foot-4, Rasshan says the dynamics of his recruitment have changed and that may keep him closer to home.

"Coach Snyder came to my house yesterday and Kansas State is still recruiting me but I am trying to decide if I am going to visit."

Currently a verbal commit to UCLA, Rasshan says he undecided right now as far as where he will take his final visit.

"Right now I am really in the middle. I just got done talking with the Head Coach of Cal and it is really up in the air. I am trying to decide right now if I am going to take that final visit to Kansas State or Cal and I have talked with both of the coaches and am trying to get through that right now as we speak," said Rasshan.
