Cats offer Quarterback...

May is the month of evaluation where coaches take it up a notch and are again able to speak directly with recruits. Kansas State extends an offer......

The KSU coaches offered Lake Travis High School (Texas) dual threat QB Todd Reesing a few weeks back and Todd is interested in the Cats.

"They offered me about three weeks ago, or four weeks ago maybe," he said. "I talked to coach Bill Snyder a couple of weeks ago and he seemed like a really good guy and he knows a lot about football."

Reesing went on to say that he will be in Manhattan next month for the Wildcat camp and that it is conceivable that he commit then, if it felt right.

"I am going to visit there in June for one of their camps," Reesing said. "I have thought about committing while I was up there but that depends on if it feels right or not and also about the other schools that are recruiting me. KSU is my only offer so far but I am getting recruited pretty hard by Baylor, Purdue and Duke also. I guess it is possible because I do want to make my decision during the summer if I can so I can have everything done before my season starts. Plus I am going to try and graduate early maybe so I can enroll in January."

Reesing is 6 foot, 190 and runs a 4.7 40. He described himself as a dual threat QB and said that his school will run the Utah offense this year. They ran the spread last year but they did so without the QB option package and now they have installed that.

We will keep up to date with Todd in the coming weeks.
