The game, K-State's first trip to Lubbock since 2001, will be televised regionally by ABC Sports, beginning at 11 a.m., the network and the Big 12 Conference jointly announced on Monday.
The selection of the Kansas State at Texas Tech game by ABC marks the fifth time in six meetings since the two teams joined the Big 12 that Wildcats and Red Raiders will play in front of the cameras. Since 1996, only the 2001 meeting between the two teams was not televised.
ABC's broadcast of Kansas State's game at Texas Tech will also be the third different network to televise the Wildcats this season. K-State's game at Marshall appeared on ESPN2, while Fox Sports Net telecast the Cats' game at Oklahoma and will also air K-State's impending match-up with Kansas this Saturday.
With its appearance on ABC vs. Texas Tech, Kansas State has now had at least one game broadcast by the network for 12 consecutive seasons.
Other television selections for Oct. 15 include an ABC broadcast of the Colorado at Texas game at 2:30 p.m. (CT) and a TBS telecast of the Oklahoma vs. Kansas game from Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium at 6 p.m. (CT).
