K-State's Weiser to Appear on ESPN Tonight

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State athletics director Tim Weiser will be a featured guest tonight on ESPN's Outside The Lines, the network confirmed Thursday morning.

Hosted by veteran ESPN anchor Bob Ley, tonight's program will air just after midnight at 12:10 a.m. (CST). It will re-air on Friday, Nov. 18, at 11:40 a.m. (CST).

The theme of this evening's show will focus on the recently-released Black Coaches Association Hiring Report Card followed by a round-table discussion as to the limited numbers of African-American head coaches in college football and whether or not athletics departments are doing all they can to be inclusive in their hiring practices.

Weiser will be asked to discuss Kansas State's approach for hiring its new football coach. He will also be asked to provide his thoughts on the BCA's hiring report card.

Outside The Lines (OTL), which has been a staple of ESPN's nightly programming lineup since 2003, examines current issue in the world of sports and includes interviews and opinions from leading authorities.
