"Trip was great, you know the guys on the football team showed me a good time. They showed me around the campus and showed me some of the good things and the bad stuff to stay away from stuff like that. Good things that almost had me committing to the new coaching staff. The coaching staff seems great, Coach Prince is a great guy," York told KStateFans.

The 6-foot-4, 265 pound D-tackle says that although most schools are recruiting him to play defensive tackle, the Cats will move him to defensive end.

"You now I am playing defensive tackle right now but they have told me that when I come there then I will be an end, then I will be playing defensive end."

"Coach Prince talked to me about championships. He wants to win and then keep winning and that is the main thing right there. He wants championships. He is intense and a winning type guy and that is what I am looking for. That is the type of coach I want to play for."

Although it looks very good for the Cats right now, Victor does say that he may have to go to Junior College depending on how he does in school this semester.

"I might have to go to junior college. Basically right now I might have to go to junior college. It just depends on how I do this semester. If I do good then I think I can make it in, is all just depends on this semester."

"My trip to Kansas State went real good. I get along with the players and everything and they treat me you know already like part of the team. Coach Mo Latimore offered me this weekend and gave me a formal offer."

York currently holds only the one offer from Kansas State but says he may take a visit to Emporia depending on how his conversation with the K-State coaches goes over the next couple of days.

"I might take a visit to Emporia but that is about it. Tell you the truth, I really may not take the visit. I am going to talk with the coaches you know and get all that worked out. Once I talk to them and all I will know if I am going to take that trip but that really may not even happen."
