Massive Offensive Linemen Edgar McNac took his official visit to Kansas State this weekend and came away wanting to become a Wildcat.

"Yes sir, the visit went well. I really kind of like it out here but I really like Kansas State. Coach Prince did not give me an offer, he said he would call me Sunday (next Sunday) and we would talk about it then," McNac told KStateFans.

At 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, McNac says he holds offers from TCU, Baylor and UTEP but he is looking to become a wildcat.

"I really like Kansas State ahead of all of them right now. I have to wait to talk to Coach Prince and see how things go this week but I want to commit to Kansas State. Coach Prince said that he offered two other O-linemen and I know they are going to be looking at that and what they do. See what the status for those guys are Coach told me that depending on what they do, he would call me on Sunday and offer me a scholarship," said the first team district 14-4A selection.

Although Edgar he does not yet hold an offer, this Texas prospect says he would commit to Kansas State if he was offered an official scholarship and is hopeful that things will work out this week to bring him to Manhattan.

"I am going to be calling the coaches all this week just to check out what is happening with those other guys you know. If they offered though, I would commit to them, yes sir. Coach Tibesar, Washington and Coach McCarty all helped recruit me so I am going to be calling the coaches to check on things."

Although not extended an offer, McNac says that other recruits enjoyed their visit as well- so much so that they committed this weekend.

"I kind of left, I was one of the first ones to leave but I can't remember how many other people committed but I saw a couple people commit earlier before I left. I saw that Moses (Manu) and Robert Jackson I think. I think there was a couple though that committed. I did not get the chance to see who else committed after I left."

Support of the program and the enthusiasm of the coaching staff is one reason that McNac has the Cats out front.

"I like the town. Everyone that is around the town is interested in football, kind of like where I am from. They are all interested in football in that town and with the Cats and football is big down there, kind of like where I am from."
