Iowa D-Back Interested in the Cats

Davenport Iowa Defensive Back Kyle Steinbrecher set to attend Iowa City Combine and is getting attention from Kansas State

Davenport, Iowa (Assumption) defensive back Kyle Steinbrecher will be a participant in the Scout.com All-American Combine in Iowa City, Iowa on April 22nd.

Steinbrecher is currently receiving interest from Iowa, Iowa State, and Kansas State. He has attended Junior Days at Iowa and Iowa State, and attended one of Iowa State's spring practices. He will attend one of Iowa's spring practices on Wednesday.

This past season, in 10 games, Steinbrecher recorded six interceptions. He also played quarterback and wide receiver on offense.

This past weekend at a track meet held at Iowa City Regina High School, Steinbrecher ran a 11.3 in the open 100 meter dash. It was his time ever running the open 100 meter dash. Steinbrecher has good speed, and as the season continues, I would expect him to run below 11.0 seconds.

He will be one to watch in the state of Iowa, and at the Scout.com All-American Combine in Iowa City, Iowa on April 22nd.
