Cats get Commit from O-Tackle

Wildcats continue to pull in commitments, picking up the commitment of out-of-state Offensive Tackle, Clyde Aufner.

Clyde Aufner, a 6-foot-7, 250-pound, offensive tackle, from Raymore-Peculiar high in Raymore, Mo., gave Kansas State his verbal commitment yesterday. Aufner was getting looks from several schools but felt at home while visiting K-State.

"I've been to the campus a few times and it was the right fit." Aufner told Scout.com

"I really liked the energy of the coaching staff and they offered me a scholarship early in the process. I think there's something to be said for getting that early offer."

Aufner started every game for Ray-Pec as a junior and was named all-state. He was also considering Missouri, Kansas and Iowa before giving the Wildcats his verbal commitment.
