Kansas State Verbal Commitment Talks Decision

Dahrnaz Tigner, from Pompano Beach-Blanche Ely, (Fla.), is a verbal commitment to the Kansas State Wildcats. He talks of the strong relationships, and if other official visits are in the game-plan.

"Right now we have a player up there by name of Josh Moore," Dahrnaz Tigner said. "They treat him real well up there. Their coaching staff and my coaching staff have a good relationship. Their coaches have met my family as well. That really helped with my decision."

"My recruiting coach is coach [James] Franklin. He is a real cool down to earth type coach. He was always straight forward with me. He has come down to see me a few times. He helped make my decision easy."

Tigner has never been to Manhattan, but will take his official visit December 9. He is considering visits to other schools as well.

"I don't know if I will take my other official visits," he said. "Central Michigan and Louisiana-Lafayette want me to come visit. I may visit those two schools."

"I have received offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, Central Michigan, FIU, LSU and Bethune-Cookman. Florida was talking to me, but they did not offer."

At 6-3, 210-pounds the Wildcats have an athletic player who could move to different positions.

"They recruited me as a free safety," Dahrnaz said. "They said they could possibly change me around to something else."

Tigner has recorded three interceptions this season from his free safety position.
