Great Season for Wildcat Commitment four-star safety Curtis Thomas, from Houston-Aldine (Texas), is one of the prize verbal commitments for coach Ron Prince and the Kansas State Wildcats. Thomas talks about his season and when he will take his official visit to Manhattan.

"The season is going really good," said Curtis Thomas. "We are 6-3, 5-1 in the district. We have one more district game this Saturday at 2 p.m. We play at Nimitz."

"I have been doing real good this year. I have six interceptions and 83 tackles."

Thomas has stayed focused on his senior season and now will look forward to the play-offs.

"I haven't been to any games yet," he said. "I don't have anything planned. I am really just focusing on the play-offs. I have set up my official visit to Kansas State for the second weekend in December."

The Wildcat coaching staff stays in touch with their four-star defensive verbal pledge.

"I talked to coach [Raheem] Morris yesterday. He said can't wait for me to get up there. Coach [Mo] Latimore came to see me play October 15," Thomas said.

Several schools remain in hot pursuit, but he is solid with his decision.

"I still receive a lot of stuff from Missouri, Nebraska, Purdue and Michigan State," Thomas said. "For right now Kansas State is the only school I will visit."
