The senior from Garland, Texas has built an impressive resume over his high school career thus far. As a junior Love broke his North Garland's record for tackles in a season with 135 and has been clocked at 4.46-seconds in the 40-yard dash.
"Arkansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech and probably Florida are my favorites," said Love. "I don't know when I'm going to make my decision, but there are at least a couple of other visits I still want to take."
The 6-0, 220-pound linebacker has offers from each of the schools he is still interested in. To date he has visited Nebraska and Kansas State. What did he think of each trip?
"I had a great time at Kansas State," he said. "I was there for the Louisville game and they showed me a real good time. They have great fans and I really like their coaches. I think I could help them out pretty early too.
"The Nebraska visit was okay, but it was real cold. It was just one visit, but I'm not sure I could do that for four years. I liked the school though. I still want to try to visit Arkansas, Texas Tech and Florida, so I might wait until after those to make my decision. I'll probably take some visits after our season is over."
North Garland is 5-3 on the season. Love has recorded 95 tackles, five sacks and six quarterback hurries.
"We're playing pretty well right now but there's still a lot we want to do. Individually I've been pretty happy with the way I've played. My game is built around my speed. I've been working to get stronger, but right now my speed is my biggest asset."
