"I just went up there (Manhattan) in October to look around," Brayden Burris said from Wichita, Kansas. "I just really like all the people and everything, so I committed. That was the biggest factor in it, the coaches and the people."
"I just really enjoyed being up there, and I really liked the team. The coaches are real nice guys."
"I will pretty much not listen to any other schools. There haven't been any that have called so far."
The 6-7, 230-pound rising senior has the recruiting process behind him, and he has goals for his senior season.
"I just want to get stronger and more athletic," Burris said. "My junior season was all right. It was fun. We were sub-state runner up and finished 10-2. I definitely will be striving to win state next year."
