Freeze Talks About His Official to K-State

Scout.com two-star offensive linemen Colten Freeze made his official visit this weekend to Manhattan. The Liberty, (Mo.) senior talked in-depth about his trip.

"It was pretty good," Colten Freeze said. "Friday we went and had more of the academic stuff like touring the library. We met our host, mine was Jeron Mastrud. He was cool. Yesterday we went and ate lunch at a sports bar-and-grill with the president of the college. Later that night we went and saw a movie. The movie was Prime Eagle (Primeval), about Africa and a crocodile. It was ridiculous. I wish I hadn't seen it."

"Later we went to coach (Ron) Prince's house and ate dinner. That was pretty good with the coaches' wives, and we got to meet a few more people. We had more time with our host later that night. Today, (Sunday) we had a meeting with our position coaches. That was coach (Tim) McCarty for me."

"We talked to a bunch of the recruits. We tried to get them to commit to K-State."

"I am just waiting on signing day now. I am ready to go."
