"They told me to get a year or two in junior college, and they would be more than happy for me to come to Kansas state. We have a junior college over at Independence that I can attend. They pretty much want me to come play for them."
"I am not going to visit any other school. I want to be committed to Kansas State. I want to go ahead and go to Independence. I am not sure what Kansas State is going to do. They said they are going to give me a call back and let me know."
The official visit to Manhattan was an exciting weekend for the Illinois tight end. He talks about his visit.
"The visit was pretty cool," he said. "Everything looked really nice. Everything about the visit was great. I really enjoyed hanging out with Josh Freeman and my host, Jeron [Mastrud]. They were pretty cool."
Harris currently stands 6-4, 217-pounds. He had spectacular senior season recording 87 solo tackles and 123 assisted tackles from his safety position.
