Kendrick Matthews, from Missouri City-Marshall, Texas, signed his letter of intent today. Coach Dennis Brantley talked of his talented cornerback.
"He's a 4.5- 40-(yard dash). He made second team All-District. He is a member of the 4 x 1 and the 4 x 2 relays in track and field. He is also going to be eligible academically," coach Brantley said of signee Kendrick Matthews.
"Matthews is more of a chance taker. He is more vocal. He tends to be more aggressive in his play, and he likes to talk. Sometimes he is overly aggressive which is a good thing."
