The Kansas State Wildcats, according to numerous newspaper accounts, have scored a trio of recruits.
The most notable of the trio is former D.C. area standout Jamar Samuels. The 6-foot-7 forward attended Patterson (N.C.) Patterson School where he played on the high school team under former Towson coach Terry Truax.
K-State assistant Dalonte Hill, a native of the area, has his fingerprints all over this one. Samuels ran with D.C. Assault, the same program Michael Beasley rolled with. Samuels is a live-bodied, bouncy athlete. He's working on obtaining the proper credits to enroll next fall.
He'll be joined by Victor Dubovitsky and guard Andre Gilbert. Dubovitsky signed last fall with Texas A&M.
