Daveric Gallington, Offensive Tackle
Richland Hills High School, Richland Texas
"I liked Oklahoma State and their facilities were very nice and I felt good being there, said Gallington. Florida is who I'm really interested in and if they make an offer I think that's where I will go."
The stock is continuing to the rise on Gallington who's currently benching 380 lbs. while squatting 600. This physically strong player also runs a 5.2 in the 40 and with his size and ability to move, many college scouts are now taking strong interest. Gallington, who at one point was considered more of a sleeper, has the tools and size that college coaches covet.
Kansas State was one of only a handful of schools to evaluate and offer the talented tackle early and this put the Cats as one of his early favorites.
All of that could change quickly however as Gallington says numerous other schools are starting to take notice and amoung those of interest are the Florida Gators.
Strong at the point of attack and a true road grater, Daveric says one thing stands out about his game at thei point.
"I think my strength is one of my strong points and I have good balance and quick feet that helps me on the offensive line," Gallington told KStateFans.com In an age when nearly 400 lb. linemen are no longer an exception, Daveric wants to drop some weight and play a little lighter. "I think my biggest weakness is my weight said Daveric. I weighed 340-350 lbs. and I want to get down to around 310."
