Despite the fact that we have Chance Blackmon listed as a recruit currently holding a Kansas State offer - Tatum stated with a good degree of certainty that he did not have an offer from the Wildcats.

Asked if in fact K-State has not offered, but did eventually offer, would he then have an interest in their program, Blackmon told KStateFans.com: "Well, they haven't been sending me much stuff so I don't know much about them. But if they did offer, and send me some stuff to learn more about them, I would definitely look at them."

Keep in mind, in a earlier report we just put up on the site this week on Blackmon he rather emphatically stated he's Colorado-bound. That said, one thing sticking out to me is the fact that he said, at least, that he intends to take all of his official visits before making a commitment.

So, if in fact there is mutual interest here, then locking up one Blackmon's official visit slots could in fact give them a decent shot to woo him to their respective school.

KStateFans Take-Board Status: The East Texas wideout remains on the take-board, for now. Why? Well because if he collects an offer he says he does not yet possess from K-State, kid said he'd give them a good look. That said, Colorado will be hard to beat out, Blackmon said as much in a report we did a couple of days ago...

["My No. 1 school is Colorado," said the East Texas wideout hailing from Tatum. "Because right now that's where I see myself playing early, playing my freshman year." A couple of others looking favorable to the pass-catcher from the Lone Star State are as follows: "Missouri and Oklahoma State." But Blackmon said it'll be hard to pry him away from the Buffalos: "I committed to Colorado already and then de-committed. But they're still at the very top of my list and will probably stay that way."]
