Wildcat Nation Exclusive: John Flanders

In a recent network report we did on John Flanders, a cornerback prospect from Midwest City (Oklahoma), he gave us a top four to mull over (all offering official scholarship offers) when he said, "My top four schools are Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Texas Tech and Kansas State." But where do the Wildcats really stand?

John Flanders, who checks in at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds (not to mention clocks forty times in the 4.4-range) gave us his thoughts on his top four which we'll review again below...

On the Cowboys: "I like where there program is at and where it's going to be. And I like the facilities, the upgrades they've made and the team."

On the Golden Hurricanes: "It's an academic school, a private school where I think I can get a quality education. I like their program and I like the plans they have to add to their stadium."

On the Red Raiders: "I like the style of their play. They pass the ball a lot. So their DBs get a lot of work in practice (covering the wide receivers)."

On the Wildcats: "I like their coaches. and I like their program. And that they're competitive enough to win the Big North."

Now let's delve even deeper into the recruitment of Flanders and meet the coaches tasked with the responsibility of wooing the speedy cornerback from the Midwest. Not stopping there we grab Flanders' thoughts on the coaches recruiting him. We also got the 411 regarding his status on the K-State Take-Board and of course the breaking info on where exactly K-State stands today in the Flanders Sweepstakes.
