Butler DE Antonio Felder Has An Early No. 1

Butler CC DE Antonio Felder who said he clocked a 4.4 in the spring is a 6-foot-3, 245-pound stud sporting three offers. Taking a medical redshirt this year after tearing his ACL the first game of his true sophomore season, Felder talks freshman season stat package, recovery status, thoughts on his top three schools, not to mention tosses KStateFans.com his early No. 1…

"Right now I'd have to say my top three schools are Kansas, Kansas State and Troy," Antonio Felder told KStateFans.com. "They've all offered. And, I'm going to be setting up those official visits soon."

But there is one school standing out just a bit more than the other two Felder revealed: "I'd have to say that Troy is on top. KU is right there though, and KSU. I'll know a lot more after I take my official visits."

On Kansas: "I already took an unofficial visit to KU but I'm going to be setting up an official visit soon. I like their ranking and like their school."

On Kansas State: "I like K-State and their program too. I'm supposed to take an official visit there mid/late-January, I think the 18th of January…."

On Troy: "I like how they send a lot of players to the League and I'm going to take an official visit there soon, probably November 2nd."

Let's meet the coaches recruiting Felder: "(KU) Clint Bowen, (KSU) James Franklin, (Troy) I forgot his name but he's a pretty good dude, pretty cool."

Felder has some pondering to do, however, before coming to a decision. He is contemplating making a return to Butler next season and going through the recruiting process again next year. But said he'd have a much better idea about what he wants to do after taking his official visits to Kansas, Kansas State and Troy.

True Freshman Season Stats: "32 tackles, 5 sacks, 50 pressures, 2-3 QB knockdowns, 5-10 tipped passes, 1 FR."

Other Numbers/Notes to Consider…

Weight Room Numbers: "Bench: 225 x 19 reps, Squat: 480, Power Clean: 315."

Injury/Recovery Status: "The doctors are telling me that I might be back to 100 percent before spring."
