Four-Star Signs with K-State

Wade Weibert, junior college four-star offensive tackle from El Dorado-Butler County, Kansas, signed a letter of intent Wednesday with Kansas State. Weibert has come a long way from not receiving any offers in high school to signing with a BCS program. He talks with about his commitment.

"A few of the main reasons I committed was I grew up a K-State fan. It played a big part in my decision," Wade Weibert said.

"I feel like coach [Ron] Prince is taking the program in the right direction. It's great to be a part of it. I will have a lot of opportunities to play."

"I will enroll in January. I signed my letter of intent. They want me to come in and play guard. They have talked to me about playing left guard, but it may change. I am currently 6-foot-5, 295-pounds."
