The Big 12 coaches have spoken, and yes, Kansas State's Michael Beasley is their Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and member of a six-man first-team all-league team.

Joining Beasley on the first unit were Brandon Rush and Darrell Arthur of Kansas, Blake Griffin of Oklahoma, Curtis Jerrells of Baylor and D.J. Augustin of Texas.

Texas' Rick Barnes was chosen as Coach of the Year, Marcus Dove of Oklahoma State Defensive Player of the Year, Sherron Collins of Kansas as the best 6th Man, and DeMarre Carroll of Missouri as newcomer of the Year.

The second team was made up of Aleks Maric of Nebraska, A.J. Abrams of Texas, Mario Chalmers of Kansas, Damion James of Texas and Martin Zeno of Texas Tech.

Bill Walker of the Wildcats was on the third team, along with Richard Roby of Colorado, Bryon Eaton of Oklahoma State, Darnell Jackson of Kansas and Jiri Hubalek of Iowa State.

Beasley and Walker headed up the all-Rookie team, and were joined by Griffin, James Anderson of Oklahoma State and DeAndre Jordon of Texas A&M.
