KSU Showing Interest in Oklahoma DT

It is no secret that the Cats would like to again load up on defensive talent and most will say that games are won and lost in the trenches. So it is no suprise that Coach prince and Co. are looking for a few good defensive tackles and Muskogee, Okla., defensive tackle Robert Thomas has garnered their attention

Muskogee, Okla., defensive tackle Robert Thomas has been hearing from Mizzou in the form of hand-written letters, along with interested from OU, OSU, Tulsa, Kansas State and others.

"I don't have any favorites. Location doesn't matter. Anybody has a chance with me."

Thomas, who is awaiting his first offer, blends power and explosiveness, using his agility to beat bigger offensive lineman off the line. He runs a 4.93-second 40-yard dash, impressive for a player of his size.

"I think my power and quickness [are my strengths]. A lot of linemen I play with, they're kind of slow. I get around them pretty quickly."

Also a good student, Thomas would like to study engineering in college. Where that will be, nobody will likely know for a while. We'll update you should things heat up between him and Mizzou.
