Video Interview: Pullen and Samuels

Sophomore guard Jacob Pullen led the way with 21 points, as K-State defeated Washburn, 81-57. Pullen finished the contest 7-of-15 from the field, including 4-of-5 from beyond the three-point line. He also added four rebounds.

The Wildcats finished the afternoon shooting 44.6 percent from the field, including 5-of-12 from beyond the arc. K-State outrebounded Washburn, 52-31, and forced the Ichabods into a 29.6 field goal percentage, including 2-of-10 from beyond the 3-point line.

Kansas State will officially open the 2008-09 season Friday, as the Wildcats begin a three-game homestand with Florida A&M at 7 p.m., in Bramlage Coliseum.
