Wildcat Coaching Change

Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder is back on the recruiting trail ... for coaches.

Following National Signing Day, Wide receiver coach Dave Brock, a hold over from the Ron Prince staff, is leaving the program and heading to Boston College.

Brock was on the road to Kansas City Sunday night, but his wife, Karen, confirmed that her husband had taken a coaching position on the BC staff.

Brock declined to return phone calls.

Boston College's staff currently has staff opening on the offensive line and tight ends-special teams.

Gary Tranquill was just hired as BC's offensive coordinator. Tranquill was offensive coordinator at North Carolina in 2005 when Brock served as his wide receivers coach for the Tar Heels.

Most of Brock's coaching experience has come in the northeast at Temple, Hofstra, Salisbury State and Western Connecticut State.

Kansas State's staff is now down to seven with openings on the offensive side at wide receivers, tight ends and running backs.

Former K-State assistant Del Miller is expected to be announced as an assistant to fill one of those duties.
