McLemore sets official visit to Kansas

Coaching staffs around the country hit the road Thursday, for the start of in-home visits. First stop for Kansas Jayhawks Head Coach Bill Self and his staff? Mouth of Wilson, Va. and Oak Hill Academy, to check in on top-flight 2011 prospect Ben McLemore.

Late Night in the Phog is little more than a month away, and though it was already set to be a star-studded affair, jam-packed with some of the top talents in the 2011 and 2012 recruiting classes, Thursday afternoon those stars got a little bit brighter.

Elite 2011 shooting guard Ben McLemore today set his official visit to the University of Kansas for Oct. 15.

Head Coach Bill Self and assistant coach Kurtis Townsend stopped by Oak Hill Academy today, to open the in-home visit period by checking in on McLemore.

According to the talented two-guard, the visit went very well indeed.
