Randle expects to attend Late Night

"Late Night in the Phog" is one of the most potent recruiting tools at the University of Kansas' disposal, and every year a collection of some of the most talented basketball prospects in the country make their way to Lawrence, Kan. for the event.

With the 2010 iteration just a few weeks away, the roster of attending talent is once again long and distinguished – including the likes of 2011 standouts Angelo Chol, Ben McLemore and LeBryan Nash, and 2012 recruits Nino Jackson, Marcus Paige and current KU commit Zach Peters.

Now, it looks as if another high-profile name can be added to the list. Julius Randle – Scout.com's top-rated player in the Class of 2013 and Peters' teammate at Plano (TX) Prestonwood Christian Academy – recently told Phog.net that he plans to make an unofficial visit to Kansas for the Oct. 15 festivities.

The elite power forward expected plans to be finalized sometime this weekend.
