Lacey reschedules visit to Kansas

With tornadoes and severe weather rocking the state of Alabama last week, Trevor Lacey was forced to put his planned official visit to the University of Kansas on hold. Making the most of his time, the four-star shooting guard visited Auburn late last week, followed by a trip to Kentucky early this week. Now, his sojourn to Kansas is back on the books.

Sometimes, life has a way of quickly putting things into perspective.

Set to take an official visit to the University of Kansas last weekend, Alabama native Trevor Lacey was one of thousands to have his plans put on hold by the devastating storms that ripped through the Yellowhammer State last week.

With power out at his home in Huntsville, Ala., the 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect – ranked the No. 15 shooting guard in the country by Scout.com – postponed the trip to Kansas and instead visited nearby Auburn.

In fact, the past seven days have been pretty hectic for Lacey, as he followed up the trip to Auburn with one to the University of Kentucky this week - an experience he described as "great."

Now, it looks as if the official to Kansas is back on, as Lacey informed Scout.com Wednesday night that he would visit the Lawrence, Kan. campus this weekend, arriving on Saturday.

Stay tuned to Phog.net and Scout.com as one of the top remaining prospects on the board in the senior class nears his college decision.
