Four-star big tripping to Kansas

The Class of 2012 is definitely a target-rich environment for recruiters where talented big men are concerned, and with a large handful of scholarships at their disposal Head Coach Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks are after their fair share. Kaleb Tarczewski arrived yesterday for a two-day visit, and today another top-flight post is on his way to town for Elite Camp.

Landen Lucas - a four-star prospect and the No. 20-ranked center in the Class of 2012 by Scout.com - is scheduled to arrive in Lawrence, Kan. today for camp with the Jayhawks.

Known as an outstanding rebounding with great hands and strength, Kansas fans can add him to the growing list of talented posts being pursued by the Kansas coaching staff in the class - a list that includes the likes of Perry Ellis, Kaleb Tarczewski, Mitch McGary and Ricardo Gathers, in addition to current commitment Zach Peters.

Check back with Phog.net for an update on Lucas early next week!
