2004 Checklist

Robert Vaden, SG, Spiece Top Prospects: We didn't set out to watch Vaden on Friday night but at some point he had everyone captivated. He had 19 points in the first half and finished with 33 for the game as his team dusted Afflalo and the Compton Magic. He hit five 3s Friday night.

Ollie Bailey, PF, Illinois Wolves: Mr. Bailey had 18 and 13 in his opener. He went 8-for-11 from the field and played with an extreme amount of energy. This guy can traffic rebound at any level.

Ty Rogers, PG, Kentucky All-Stars: He's a mid-major special. In fact, he's already got five serious mid-major offers. Rogers is fearless, creative and attacks. The guy has great medium-range on his jumper and is unselfish and patient.

Alex Thompson, PF, Martin Bros.: The 6-8 power forward needs to get stronger for Big Ten competition but skill shouldn't be a problem. Thompson likes to face up and step out some. He's not only comfortable shooting the ball but he was successful as well.

2006 Checklist

Marques Johnson, SG, Indiana Red: He's got plenty of potential and is a fine athlete. He's best when he's not being so creative and crafty with the ball. He's got a chance to be really good.
