Five-star 2013 PG likely for Late Night

With a truckload of scholarship offers on the table, Charlotte (N.C.) Olympic High point guard Allerik Freeman recently trimmed his list to a more manageable size. The Kansas Jayhawks were one of 11 to make the cut, and now it appears as if the 5-star 2013 prospect will visit the Lawrence, Kan. campus unofficially in October for "Late Night in the Phog."

"It's not finalized," Freeman said. "But I plan on it."

Should he end up making the trip, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect - who is also considering Kansas State, Texas, Villanova, Marquette, Georgetown, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Memphis - will be joined by the likes of fellow 2013 stars Brannen Greene and Isaiah Lewis.

Freeman reportedly also has visits set to Kansas State and Texas, and will visit home-state North Carolina unofficially this weekend.

He is currently ranked No. 19 in the Class of 2013. Top Stories
