Phog.net adds new contributors

Phog.net is pleased to announce the addition of two new (sort of!) staff members to the team. Meet Brian Hanni and Eric Bossi.

As Phog.net continues to grow into one of the premier University sports websites on the Internet, it's critical that we continue to bring aboard the best talent to cover KU sports. We believe these additions will help us continue to build toward our goal.

Brian Hanni is the Sports Director at the Zimmer Radio Group in Lawrence, comprised of Lazer 105.9 and ESPN Radio 1320 KLWN. At ZRG Lawrence, Brian hosts a daily sports talk show, Rock Chalk Sports Talk, airing from 4-6 on KLWN. He also is the play-by-play voice of the KU baseball and softball teams, as well as Lawrence High and Free State football and basketball.

Hanni, a Topeka native, has worked in the capital city and in Kansas City at KMBZ during his six year radio career. He's won 12 awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for his radio work. While earning his broadcast degee from KU, he spent two years as columnist for the University Daily Kansan.

Brian will focus on bringing KU-related information to Kansas fans in all sports through player interviews, feature stories, recruit interviews, and commentary. Brian will also be a regular columnist for Inside Phog, a print magazine due to debut this fall.

Eric Bossi is one of the premier national recruiting hoops talent evaluators in the country. For years, Eric has shared his recruiting analysis, inside scoops, and unique insight with Kansas fans on numerous websites. Eric is a regular contributor to Prepstars.com, a top basketball recruiting service.

Eric will focus his efforts on following KU and Kansas City recruits at the various big time AAU tournaments around the country. Eric will also be covering "KCHoops," the local Kansas City basketball scene. He'll share who is going where, and what type of game they bring.

In addition, Eric will be answering questions in the premium and recruiting forums. KU fans always have plenty of questions and Eric will be there to serve the Phog.net community with everything from nuggets of info to extensive game breakdown. Lastly, Eric will be a contributor to InsidePhog magazine later in the year. Welcome home, Eric!

Phog.net is pleased to be able to offer KU fans two of the best talents in the business. It's all a part of the plan to build the best team possible to serve Kansas Jayhawk fans.
